My name’s Kit.
Professionally, I’ve been a software developer for a decade, mostly working in web app backends and natural language processing. I’ve mostly worked with Python and JavaScript, but give me some Rust or some Ruby and I’ll do fine, too. Put me in front of Java and I’ll start ranting about how much better type systems can be.
Personally, I cook, design games, play games, write, maintain my interest in linguistics and learning languages, bake bread, sail, lift heavy things and put them down again, and do archery. I’m interested in urbanism and urban design, wildlife, and finding ways to be better to each other. I have a cat who is seriously cute, but you won’t find any pictures of him here.
