About

I’m your host, Joel Spolsky — er, wait, sorry, wrong blog.  I’m Kit, and if you’re reading this blog, odds are you know me, and if you’re reading this page, odds are you don’t.  A little bit of hand-waving, and we derive a contradiction.  So much for that.

So, let’s try again. I am a linguist, a sysadmin, a coder, an academic—or at least a scholar. I am a singer, a dancer, a musician, a would-be diver, a collecter of trivia. I am also a mild FOSSwonk. I like open systems, efficient systems, decentralized systems. I like good design a lot. I like good food a lot.

Also, I am a gamer. A lot.
