Shell Scripts
Posted on November 6th, 2007 by kit
I’ve made some shell scripts to make my life on my OS X laptop easier; they also pertain to the various linux systems I use.
- Detect the current wireless network’s SSID (on OS X)
- Change /etc/hosts to account for the current network (caveat: this is a hack, and not a good way of doing things.)
- Propagate settings (such as .*rc files) to other hosts
I also have a PPC/OS X compiled version of wget here.
Lastly, I have made some keyboard layouts for OSX; they are linked to here.
